Email Marketing Associate (Temp) (SoHo) New York City

During 2013, an estimated average of 43 million consumers and 500,000 healthcare professionals, including one-third of all U.S. physicians, engaged with Everyday Health's health and wellness properties each month across multiple channels, including the web, mobile devices, video and social media.

We are seeking an Email Marketing Associate (EMA) on a temporary bases for approximately three months, starting mid-September. The EMA's primary function is the coding and distribution of sponsored emails to over one million registered Everyday Health users. In this position, the person will work cross-functionally to create compelling email marketing solutions for Everyday Health's advertising clients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with email marketing campaigns start-to-end, including design, coding, set-up, testing, and execution.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency with Adobe's Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver, as well as Power Point and Excel.
- Knowledge of Excel macros and previous experience working with database management and ESP providers.
- General understanding of enterprise level reporting tools and intermediate knowledge (2-4 years' experience) of HTML
- Good communication and strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and keep projects within timeframes
- Knowledge of web design best practices and web standards
