Warehouse Assistant Manager WANTED (Stamford, NY) Stamford

Warehouse assistant manager needed to assist the Production Department in maintaining efficient operation of warehouse for a busy replacement remodeling company. This is a full time, entry-level position with a competitive salary and growth opportunity.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Loading/unloading delivery trucks
Ensure all orders are delivered completely and record/report all damages
Preparation of materials and product for installation crews
Track and maintain inventory of stock materials and supplies
Place orders for specialty materials
Clean and maintain the warehouse space
Make product and material deliveries to job sites as needed
Operate forklift and other equipment in a safe manner
Job requirements:
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work
Basic knowledge or experience with construction, building, remodeling materials
College degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Effective communication skills
Effective organizational skills
Knowledge of computers and related software applications
Applicants should be in good physical condition as heavy lifting will be required at times
