Full Time Bike Messenger Positions Available
The position to be filled requires that the applicant possess the following:
-Experienced Messengers preferred
-Knowledge of Manhattan
-Customer Service Oriented
-Verifiable references
-Professional business etiquette
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Knowledge of Subways (MTA)
-Punctual
-Courteous & Friendly
-Ability to follow instructions
The position requires that the applicant arrive at our office and pick up and sort multiple packages to be delivered to client businesses and residential locations by a certain delivery time each day. It is also required that the applicant communicate with the office during each transaction using a two-way radio or inputting information via electronic wireless device. In addition it is required that the applicant document each transaction on paper obtaining legible written signatures for verification for each transaction. It is also the responsibility of the individual to keep secure all packages while they have them in their possession.
The position requires that the individual wear a full company issued Vest which includes photo identification. The applicant is required to supply black pants and black shoes.
All positions require a criminal background check.
