Overview
The Operations team is central to the success of our business at Handy. Operations Associates lead our local efforts in cities we serve and are critical to maintaining our position as the leading provider of on demand home services. From recruiting service providers and managing our provider network to ensuring quality levels are maintained, your work will be diverse and challenging. You will be responsible for overseeing hundreds of service providers fulfilling thousands of jobs for happy Handy customers. This is an amazing hands-on opportunity for self-starters looking to be a part of one of the most exciting startups around.
What You'll Do
Provider Recruitment -- exploring channels, setting up interviews, leading on-boarding sessions and enhancing the local recruitment process
Supplies Management and Inventory Control - making sure professionals on the Handy platform are always well equipped
Provider Management - engaging with professionals to ensure high levels of service
Community - Holding community events with our provider network to drive morale and engagement
Past Experience
Experience in an operational/customer service/ sales environment is valued, but not necessary.
Skills
Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and self-motivation
Self-starters who enjoy doing hands-on work
Knowledge of local area will be highly beneficial
Proven track record of leadership
Education
Degree from a 4 year university
