ABOUT YOU:

- You can work magic with Adobe Illustrator.

- You have a strong interest in Young Women's (18-24) fashion.

- You love to express yourself through your art and fashion.

- You have a strong interest/knowledge in Typography.

- You are passionate and driven to create good design products.

- You possess a strong desire to succeed.

- You work well under pressure.

- You have great attention to detail.

- You can work weekends and late evenings to meet deadlines, if needed.

ABOUT THE JOB:

- You will be designing cool products (Earbuds, iPhone cases, Pillows, etc.) for some of the coolest retailers in the world such as Anthropologie, Francesca's Collections, Forever 21, Hot Topic, etc.

- You will help design packaging of new products.

- You will be preparing design catalogs.

- You will be on the constant look out for new women's fashion trends and incorporate them into our design catalogs.

- You will be researching new trends on the top trend forecasting website, Stylesight (WGSN).

- You will be performing Trend/Market Research reports as well as creating Look Books/Mood Boards for our clients.

- You will help create artwork for designs that are selected for sampling / production.

- You will help maintain and update our design database.

- Ability to be flexible within the job to ensure the best processes/systems for smooth completion of all projects.

Ankit is a fashion design house. We design some of the cool home and tech products (earbuds, headphones, iPhone cases, charging accessories, throw pillows, blankets, drinkware,..) on the planet. We sell to large chains and small stores around the nation (e.g. Anthropologie, Hot Topic, Forever 21, Rue 21, Tilly's,..). We have a core group of dedicated and passionate people at our office. REQUIREMENTS:

- Rockstar level (pro level knowledge and extremely efficient) in Adobe Illustrator

- Must have experience in Junior or Women's Graphics

- Strong interest in Young Women's fashion

- Tenacious nature

- Passion for good design

- Ability to think out-of-the-box and multi-task projects

- Able to work in a Team Player environment

- Work well under pressure

- Adapt well to change

- Keep Organized

- Know how to use MS Office (Word, Excel)

PLUS:

-2+ years of design experience preferred.

-Artist who loves to create art.

-Experience with Stylesight (WGSN) a plus.

-Typography experience a major plus.
