THE COMPANY: Our client located in Rhode Island is a domestic highly successful designer and manufacturer of branded, fashion jewelry designed and manufactured for some of the nation's premier specialty and department store chains.
THE POSITION: The person selected must be knowledgeable of jewelry production methods, proficient in hand sketching and rendering able to design by manipulation and by using Illustrator. Working with a dynamic in-house Merchandising. Product Development and Sales Group this creative designer will produce innovative and unique on-target samples for high-end jewelry collections found at the nation's leading retailers.
THE CANDIDATE: Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fashion jewelry design and product development. Should be able to provide design direction, sketch or draw from concept and have the ability to design using jewelry components, beads and chains to create market ready samples for various retail collections. Must display unique artistic qualities to properly interpret fashion trends while using the right colorways and materials to design eye catching jewelry to meet customer demand. Must have the talent and motivation to be an outstanding performer in a challenging, time sensitive fast-paced team environment.
