We are looking for a person with an art background that would gain from the experience of working for an art consulting company and gallery. We believe this internship can help someone as a stepping stone to other art related work or as a way of helping an artist with their career by understanding the workings of a gallery. Interns will gain experience in all aspects of the company, as our thorough intern manual goes through mostly everything you will ever do here. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in the art world.

It is very important that you can follow instructions well and can ask questions when not sure of something. We want this to be a good educational experience for you!

- Works well in a team oriented environment
- Passion for art

The full-time internship is for three months for a total of 66 actual days. The stipend for the three months is $792, or exactly $12 per day (this is to cover your travel and lunch). You will be paid this stipend every two weeks, or if you wish, at the end of the internship. In some cases school credit is offered for students. We ask that you are available and are willing to make the commitment for the entire three months before we would consider you for this position.

The hours are typically 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday or Monday through Friday. It is possible that at some point during your internship, your hours will switch to 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m. You are required to be here five days a week and six hours each day. We're sorry but we cannot make exceptions to the schedule, as there is nobody to fill in for you.

This internship will begin ASAP, and will end sometime in January, (whenever your 66 days are completed). If you are returning to school, and these hours conflict with classes, or have travel plans, other than over the holidays, you would not be eligible for the internship at this time.

If you are interested in the position, please call 212-334-1102 between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, to set up an interview appointment. Do not send your resume but bring it with you on your appointment. We will not read any e-mails sent.

We are located at 568 Broadway (just North of Prince Street.) Take the R to Prince, the #6 to Spring, or the B, D, F, or M train to the Broadway/Lafayette stop.
