We are currently Looking for Commercial Mortgage Broker's for our expanding Brooklyn Location

Who We are:

The Cornerstone Group of NY has facilitated Commercial Mortgage and Capital Financing transactions as large as $50 Million. In today's credit environment each lender is different. Engaging the wrong lender is often costly and time-consuming. With an ever growing number of funding relationships across the Credit & Capital Markets, our Commercial Financing Advisory Team positions each Buyer/Building Owner with the right lender best suited to that Buyer's specific scenario, assuring a timely, cost effective, and successful transaction in 30-45 days.

The Cornerstone Group of NY's Commercial Mortgage Brokers will be expected to have strong business development skills, excellent underwriting skills, along with a solid understanding of various debt structures in order to provide a high level of service to customers and ensure to keep the level of confidence CSG-NY upkeeps with their clients.

What we are looking for: Team-oriented, determined, goal-driven individuals that want to participate in the Commercial Lending platform at a fast paced Commercial Advisory Firm.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Develop strong relationships with Lenders, Wall Street conduits, Insurance companies, Hard Money Lenders, Mezzanine Lenders, and other specialized finance companies.
2) Business Development / Generate exclusive agreements by building relationships with active members of commercial real estate market
3) Exclusively represent borrowers and work with their representatives
4) Work closely with Real Estate Brokers to share knowledge of market.
5) Pitch for exclusive assignments, to ensure a commitment from the client
6) Ability to analyze, underwrite, and structure a variety of financial solutions for each of the major asset classes
7) Build networking and referral system to maintain pipeline of business
8) Establish long lasting client relationships
9) Know and track all variables of your market including: property owners, lenders, loan structures, movement of key players in your market.
10) Always educate yourself and be updated with the current trends of the market.
11) **Become a person someone can turn to with any questions or scenarios. Achieve to become a great (successful) Commercial Lending Advisor.

Asset Classes/Types: Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, Retail, Office, Industrial Warehouse, Health-Care Facilities, Commercial Condo's, Construction Loans, Private Funds, Institutional Funds, etc..

Training: We will provide Initial "Productive-Sharpening" training program covering everything Commercial Lending Advisors need to know to grasp a better understanding of the functions that come along with being a well respected Commercial Lending Advisor. All Advisors will be kept up to date on rules and regulations, products, terms, new lenders, and other key objectives. Managers will be available for any questions or comments and will be responsible for every Advisors success. Continued Success training includes refresher courses, industry leaders, market experts, professional presentation classes.

Knowledge & Experience: Finance Savvy, Disciplined, Assertive, Punctual.
Existing mortgage brokerage &/or financial institution experience a plus

3) - Excellent Oral & Written Communications skills incl. Negotiating capability, Strong Strategic abilities
4) - Superior Organizational Skills / Detail Oriented
5) - Excellent Analytical & Reasoning ability
6) - Strong computer skills
7) - Team oriented activities, personal achievements and/or leadership roles in background.
Bachelors and/or Advanced Degree
