A COUPLE YEARS AGO, I WAS AT AN ESTATE SALE ON THE JERSEY SHORE, WHERE EVERYTHING IN THE ESTATE WAS NAUTICAL. I PEEKED IN A PARTIALLY FINISHED ATTIC, AND FOUND A BOX WITH 7 OLD NAUTICAL MAPS IN IT. I PURCHASED THEM AMONGST OTHER THINGS I THOUGHT HAD VALUE. I JUST STARTED GETTING AROUND TO THE MAPS AFTER ALL THIS TIME, AND TO MY SURPRISE, I FOUND A SIGNED ART DECO PAINTING ON A VERY HEAVY CANVASS, ROLLED UP INSIDE A LARGE MAP, THE SIGNATURE IS PHILLIPE BOUDOY. I TRIED RESEARCHING HIS NAME, AND ONLY CAME UP WITH SOME EUROPEAN WEBSITES WITH HIS NAME AND THE EXACT SAME PICTURE. ALL THE WEB SITES REQUIRED A PAID MEMBERSHIP TO RETRIEVE ANY INFORMATION THERE WAS. I AM TO SCARED TO PUT MY CREDIT CARD # OVER THE INTERNET WITH UNKNOWN SITES. I DID FIND, THAT AT THE MOMENT, SOMEBODY HAS IT LISTED ON EBAY FOE ABOUT $450.00, AND THAT'S WITH AN 80% DISCOUNT. THEY HAVE NO INFO IN THERE DESCRIPTION, EXCEPT THERE IS A SIGNED PRINT, AND IS SMALLER THAN MINE, AND IS FRAMED. MINE IS ON EXTREMELY HEAVY CANVASS, ORIGINAL, SIGNED, AND IN PRISTINE PERFECT CONDITION, NO FLAWS. PLEASE CALL ME (DAN) AT 732-617-6577 IF YOUR INTERESTED, OR IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
