Very nice example of this rare Sonora radio - phonograph. It is complete and shows off its unique design very nicely. Sonora was know for their flair for beautiful and trendsetting designs. This Art Deco inspired design has a dramatic waterfall speaker grill as well as the distinctive Sonora tuning knob with a station dial lamp illuminating the station playing.
The AM radio is working as well as the dial indicator lamp. It picks up a few stations clearly but does have a background hum.
The phonograph turntable works as it should. The tone arm has no needle so I could not test playing a record. There is a small scratch between the turntable and the tone arm I would guess from the needle being dragged back and forth over the years. The set displays very nicely and would be a very unusual addition to your collection.
