Hello! My name is Eleonora and I will be happy to help the student to succeed in school. I am a New York State certified elementary school teacher currently working toward my Master Degree in ESL/ESOL. I am a graduate of the Queens College Teacher Education Program, and have Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education/Psychology and teaching experience, ranging from Early Childhood Education through 8th grades. In this time, I have worked with students with a wide variety of strengths and needs. I am highly familiar with common cord standards across the elementary and middle school grades and have special program for successful New York State COMMON CORE Tests/REGENT preparation. I am CPR & First AID certified. Most importantly, I love to work with children and support their growth!

I can help the child significantly improve his/her school performance through a combination of deep content knowledge, innovative teaching methods, and a warm and respectful teaching style focused on relationship building. Because of my extensive experience, I am able to modify or accelerate schoolwork based on the child's needs. I can simply support the student with his/her assigned homework, or I can provide additional resources to target areas of growth. Additionally, I take feedback well and will adjust my tutoring practice as necessary to meet the family's needs.
