San Francisco Rock band looking for shows - (anywhere in NYC) New York City
- Location: New York City, New York, United States
Fellow artists and booking agents alike,
We are a 3 piece original alt rock band called The Institution (www.theinstitution.us, www.facebook.com/thebandtheinstitution, www.reverbnation.com/theinstitution) and we are looking for New York City shows to play on our east coast tour down the coast; hopefully starting in Maine should things fall together how we hope. We are based out of San Francisco, CA. We have been likened to Deftones, Tool, Chevelle, Soundgarden, QOTSA, and Incubus amongst others as far as sound but we really have a good original sound. We play between 75 and 100 shows per year, have great original music, and conduct ourselves in a professional manner (always show up, ready to play, and have over 50 original copyrighted songs so we can play for a while). Please check out our style and see that we can blend with many a different genre of rock music. We also have the ability to play acoustic sets and often do so when the environment dictates a need to keep people appreciative of the music. We are currently booking our east coast and mid west tours in support of our album release for "Hegemony" our new album which hits the public on April 10, 2015. We are doing the west coast tour first which is already set and so are looking to book summer and fall dates for the east coast and mid west tours. We are reaching out to venues and fellow musicians alike for opportunities. If you are a band with aspirations of playing out west we put on shows all the time out here from Seattle to San Diego and are quite connected in the bay area of California. Let's do a show exchange and help each other out. And if you are a booking agent or a venue owner and are looking for great rock acts look no further than right here. We will schedule your venue or show right on our tour and happily travel out to you and we are easy to work with, never whine or act like prima donnas, and always show up. Can't wait to bring our music out to the east coast and come through NYC. Thank you to all for any and all help that you can give us and have a great journey.
Peace,
Jay Scott (vox/guitar)
