Come learn upright or electric bass...or both! All ages, levels, and styles. I have a great music studio located on the Upper West Side. I cater lessons to each students interests. In general, I focus lessons on technique, theory, performance and recording concepts, and soloing.
I'm a full time performing bassist and have been teaching for the past 10 years. I've traveled around the world playing and recording with artists such as Elvis Costello, Branford Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis, Talib Kweli, 9th Wonder, Portastatic, DJ Premier, The Old Ceremony, Jewel and many others... $80 an hour.
